Fuck, my life is good!!

Said and heard that an awfull lot of times last couple of weeks. I can only speak for myself when I say: I honestly feel that way at the moment. It's so good to realise it at the very moment you are having a good time. I dont know about you, but I usually find out afterwards that some things were pretty darn good. "Enjoy the moment" and "enjoy life" are hollow sentences to a lot of people. I have to admit it's probably easier to reconise a good life in a country where you see a lot of people struggle to survive evrey single day. Oh well, let's try to really live by it anyway!

I really love it when I realise I can go to every place in the world any time I want. I got the time, money, health and the anti-commitment to whatever. I wrote couple of blogs entries ago my plans down for comming months and I am probably not gonna stick to them. Some things are set but I am really considdering some other good stuff at the moment. I am not gonna write it down today becus I am not sure yet, dont want to bother you with all those stupid things crossing my mind. Keep you posted on that one!

Today was crazy. Why the heck does mankind want to fly 6 o'clock in the morning :O . We dropped James of today. James is one of the 2 guys I bumped into twice within a few hours a couple of weeks ago. Alex and James were really really drunk the second time I met them, and not just drunk, ready to party aswell. They asked me if I wanted to come along and I obv cudnt resist. That night was fun, Alex and James were cool, Alex almost ended up paying 200RM for a hamburger :O . Anyways ended up spending quite some time with them since.

Writing down some cliffnotes:

Januari started of really relaxt but starting to pick up some speed again. I am very tired due of some sick fun yesterday and the day before (will post pics later). Wanted to write down that I think KLM is fkn unreal, charging me 120 euro's to change my returnflight. Did it anyway since you dont really got a choice eh?
So I ll leave 27th 23.40. and will arrive 28th of Jan. 5.45. local time in Amsterdam. So if there are people out there who wanna hug and cry most welcome ;). It's good to come a couple of days earlier. keeps my options open me to play some live tourneypoker in the "Domstad classics"

Wasmachine went down. fml everey single piece of electronics had brokes down the last few months.

Running very poorly in getting a new appartment:

-not a great budget
-lady from the Midlands didnt call me (saw it kinda coming to be honest)
-estate agent cant help out on that one.

I strongly considder to stick with seaview and just getting another appartment :)

Planning.

I went to see some appartments with an estate agent. Since my "contract" for the place I got right now expires at the end of this month Ive got to think in advance. iow PLANNING. I started the day of good by oversleeping, I woke up by the agent calling me that he was at my appartment already, (not funny!) then I had no water, and I was like OMG they cut me off for not paying my November bill yet(NOT FUNNY!^2). I found out later that the whole building had trouble with their water, so no probloms for me, phew!xd. Getting dressed didnt take me long and I was ready to go and get things done. Unfortunately the budget I came up with wasnt as reasonable as I honestly thought it was. At least for the conditions I've got. I did see a place wich at first sight fit my preferences but turned out to be a shithole!(I tooke some pics of it with my phone, not sure if i can get them onto my laptop tho.) I am starting to think it's a pretty big mistake to leave Seaview garden lol. Seriously I honestly don't understand how that guy is ever gonna rent that place out to someone in the condition as bad as it is right now. Went to another appartment by myself and got stuck in a security controlroom of a hotel/condo with a muslim girl. And don't tell me they don't flirt! :O. Actually nobody told me that, just my own prejustices. Makes me realise once again that I am still full of them. Anyway hopefully I can have a look at the Midlands next week. The good thing is they rent out pretty small units and the location is pretty much perfect, they promised me to gimme a call. *please do*


Midlands, this one doesnt look as good as Seaview either :( What am I doing? lol

Let me write my ideas down for coming months, and finish this blogentry. I pretty much made up my mind:

Get back to Holland 28th of January with my yearticket.
Book another retour to Malaysia leaving early March and returning medio June. Then fly from Amsterdam to Getwick and from Getwick to Las Vegas the first of july to return the 1st of August back to the Netherlands. Gives me the opportunity to spent a big part of the vacation with friends and family+some time to figure out if I wanna go study again or continue to live life like I do right now.


Think about it.

Sounds like a solid plan to me. I found a pretty resonable retour ticket Amsterdan>Kl>Amsterdam BUT makes a stop in Cairo. At first I thought that isn't great, but it does give me the opportunity to stick around in Egypt for a while wich is pretty cool imo. I have to check out the option of an "around the world ticket" first before I start booking tho. Furthermore I ll have to leave Malaysia 1 more time between March and June, not sure yet where I want to go, I mean there are a looot of options. Oh well we will see!

Relaxt, being a spectator.

2nd of Januari already. At this moment I enjoy being just by myself. December has been a pretty hectic month for me. 4 weeks non stop people staying in your house, running around to do and see stuff + a lot of travelling especially the first 2 weeks is tiring. Def. not complaining was probably the best month of the year! But for someone who likes to be alone to a certain degree it's good to have my home for myself again. Internet is in a very good shape lately, so I ve been watching some 2009 conferences from dutch comedians. Furthermore grinding out my pokerbonus, really have to put in some volume this months to redeem. Not leaving the house till I am out of food haha :P .



31dec was a weird day, family prepared themself to leave, cleaned the place up, and spent quite some time at the pool upstairs. Plan was to drop them off around 9pm after we had dinner at the airport. It's funny how I like this place so much. 3rd time I ate at roasters within 1 month. Me likes there muffins a lot!




Anyways wasnt fun to see them go, I am not sure yet but for now I think it sucks much harder to be left behind then to leave behind. I need a bigger sample tho to make up my mind about that.. :)
I sticked around in Georgetown without plans, I was like: I ll hook up with some people and if I dont perfectly fine too, was uncool tho to see my table been given away while I was taking a toiletbreak :@ . Still not sure wheter they f.cked up by accident or they did it on purpose. I had been thinking earlier that it was pretty -EV for there business to have me sitting there instead of a somewhat bigger group. I decided not to make an argument, just wished her happy new year. Good me IMO. On my way to the boulevard to see some fireworks I ran into a hooker with slightly too much make-up, instead of taking her offer for a massage I asked her if I was heading into the right direction, ended up with a chat, and feeling sorry for her soul.


Didnt see any of this :(

I arrived at the boulevard few minutes past 12, I didnt see one single piece of fireworks :O . Heard a few bangs at 12 but compared to what I am used to this was pathetic. Gurneydrive was busy, very busy and even without fireworks there was a positive, relaxt, friendly, not so much party atmosphere or maybe it was just me not sensing it. Walked, wished evereybody out there "happy new year", watched a helicopter saying "hi" to the crowd, a fountain of foam wich resulted in a lot of kids with fabulous hats and long white beards. Then heard Elvis screamin "It feels good" I cudnt resist to take a look and my eyes saw a somewhat small stage with a band playing some good oldies. Watched people going nuts, I stayed with the band till they stopped playing wich made me decide to call it a day and headed back home to get some sleep in a decent bed for the first time in...what felt like ages...

Weird way to celebrate the new year eh? I didnt really celebrate actually, others did the celebrating for me, I just watched them. Wondering what people were thinking when I sat there by myself, must have looked silly. As long as I remember I enjoy to step aside everey now and then and watch other people being busy with random stuff.Stepping aside. A little like the helicopter, as an overview, being a spectator of life instead of a participant just for a moment or 2. People are funny creatures, I mean really. Sometimes we need people around us sometimes we don't. Sometimes having people around you, you dont know is a as good as no people at all. It's up to you wheter you want to interact or not. in the meanwhile you got something incredible fun too watch.

Pretty darn nice to see my buddies again! Picked them up from the airport with awesome "Vince timingskills" had to wait roughly 30 seconds for them :D . After dinner we took a cab back to my place where we sat down for a moment or 2 before they crashed down in their bedroom for a 14houer sleep! :O . When they woke up again at 15.15...-.-" we wanted to go for a swim in de sea, but they got discouraged by some kinda...I dunnno, this: Oh well swimmingpool is always there :). It feels weird to be something between a host and just a random tourist but sure feels good when they tell me the food and places I pick for dinner are good :D .Shipped my first complaints within 36 hours after there arrival lolz.






Tuesday we went to Panenghill for a nice "little" hike after finally arriving at the right spot to start the walk (appearently it's not that common to walk up). We got attacked my monkey's, dogs, mosquito's, danger of an approaching thunderstorm and by some locals who set us up to check out the jungle aswell Grrrr/. We did make it to the top after several houers where we sat down for a most welcome drink and enjoyed the view.








Wednesday we asked a regular taksidriver to take us around the island to show us some nice spots to go, was a pretty good day imo. I can't tell too much right now. I am running out of time again. But again I was surprised by the kindness of people out here, after dinner and no buss coming the waiter from the restaurant we had dinner brought us back home all the way up the mountain.

How are y'all doing?

I dont have too much too tell, so dunno what's going to be in her lol. Just feel like writing and wanted to show you this thing I came across yesterday. I am not sure wheter non-basketballplayers appreciate this as much as I do, but brought a smile on my face when I saw it first time :).





Finally my friends will be coming over tomorrow, I didn't really miss anyone yet but now that they are coming I cant wait to see them again!! :D . I/we have got some things in mind I/we want to show and do when they are here. I think I ll go to the airport by bus and get a cab on the way back....not sure yet.

Yesterday not much going on, was one of my biggest losing days in poker. I have to be careful, I tend to fok up a whole month up if I have a bad start. Luckily I wont't be playing too much in December but still. Little worried bout my bonuss tho. I have to play quite a lot of hands to lay my hands on a 4k bonus but as I said I dont have too much time...
Oh almost forgot lolz I got some other poker related stuff: I paid my share for the Las Vegas Villa next summer, w0000t!!!. 2 weeks ago I saw the movie 2012, when there was a flash of Ceacars palace (casinohotel in Vegas) I said: "I ll be there sometime!" And now 2 weeks later...haha it's so freakin cool imo :D really looking forward. Maybe I ll write something more later on bout this, bit in a hurry having a birthdayparty coming up. Dont know what to write in the birthdaycard lolz -.-"
